Sure, earbuds may be all the rage at the moment, but sometimes there just isn’t any replacement for sitting back and enjoying your music with a set of quality headphones. The Sony WH-1000XM4 Overhead Headphones with Mic lead the wireless industry in noise cancellation and include a built-in mic for use with phone calls and the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.

Dual Noise Sensor technology provides the noise cancellation that is leading the industry. Adaptive Sound Experience, which adjusts to your location and behavior, detects your activity to provide the right amount of noise cancellation. Also included is Digital Sound Enhancement with Edge-AI, co-developed with Sony Music Studies Tokyo.

Sony Wh1000 Headphones Battery Life

The Sony WH-1000XM4 Overhead Headphones can pair with multiple devices seamlessly. They utilize quick charging, with just a 10-minute charge giving you five more hours of playback. But you won’t have worries about them lasting throughout the day with a battery life of up to 30 hours. Touch sensor controls will pause, play, and skip tracks; control the volume, activate the voice assistant, and answer your phone calls. Playback will stop once the headphones detect that they have been removed.

Volume during your phone calls is automatically reduced by speak-to-chat technology, but you’ll get excellent call quality regardless with 4Hz to 40,000Hz frequency response during active operation and 20Hz to 20,000Hz frequency response during Bluetooth communication. When you’re done listening and talking, fold them up and store them in the included carrying case.

Take $100 off the price of these headphones in Black, Blue, or Silver and pay just $248.

In 2016, archaeologists dated two rings of snapped stalagmites in France’s Bruniquel Cave to 176,500 years ago, evidence that Neanderthals had walked 336 metres into darkness with fire and built architecture deep underground long before modern humans reached Europe
