An object can be scanned from a 0.1mm to 0.2mm distance while being no smaller than 15mm. It will capture the finest detail with accuracy up to 0.05mm. Don’t worry about your eyes while using the laser, as the invisible near-infrared light source will not harm your eyes. Black or bright objects are no longer challenging; objects can even be scanned in the sun.

Scanning objects is easier, too, with multi-mode scanning and no marker dots. You can create a scan as easily as filming a video, even if you have trouble holding a handheld device. You can scan in three modes: turntable, handheld, or handheld plus turntable.

The updated CR Studio 2.0 software supports OTA upgrades. The update has a new UI design that is clearer and more convenient while editing. The optimization algorithms won’t make you lose track and provide more accuracy. It’s compatible with Windows 10/11 and macOS 11/12 (including the M1 chip). Connect the software to Creality Cloud to update your 3D model to the database, where slicing and printing can be done with one click.
