Sony Interactive Entertainment will release its Pulse Elevate wireless speakers on 12 November 2026 at a recommended retail price of $219.99, according to an update to the PlayStation.Blog announcement written by Edwin Foo, vice president of product development at SIE.
The same update set the price at £199.99 in the UK, €219.99 in euros and ¥37,980 in Japan, all including tax. Pre-orders opened on 1 September 2026 at 10am local time, and at 10am ET in the United States.
There are two colours. Midnight Black goes on sale globally at direct.playstation.com and at participating retailers, while White is limited to direct.playstation.com in the United States, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal, and to select retailers elsewhere. Sony says availability may vary by market and retailer.
Microphone and connection
Pulse Elevate is the first set of wireless speakers developed by SIE.
A microphone sits inside the right speaker. Sony describes the technology as AI-enhanced noise rejection and says it helps identify and remove unwanted background noise, which the company presents as voice chat for a desktop setup without a headset.
The speakers connect over PlayStation Link, which Sony calls ultra-low latency and lossless, and which works with the PS5, PC, Mac and the PlayStation Portal remote player. A PlayStation Link USB adapter compatible with USB-C ports is included.
Bluetooth is supported at the same time. Sony says players can take in-game audio from a device connected over PlayStation Link while a separate Bluetooth device handles music or voice chat.
Audio and controls
Each speaker uses planar magnetic drivers that Sony describes as studio-inspired, along with built-in woofers for bass. The company says the drivers deliver “lifelike sound across the entire audible spectrum” and that on PS5 they position audio cues more accurately in games that support Tempest 3D AudioTech.
Volume controls are on the speakers themselves, which can be set horizontally or vertically on a desk.
EQ, sidetone, volume and mic mute can be adjusted through system menus on PS5 or PC, though Sony says the PC options will be available after launch. The blog post also carries a correction stating that an earlier version incorrectly listed sidetone volume as an adjustable setting.
A rechargeable battery is built in, which Sony says allows the speakers to be used away from a desk with a PlayStation Portal over PlayStation Link or with a phone over Bluetooth. Charging docks are included in the box.
