Mister Andy: I don't even think actually uninstalling Internet Explorer from Windows is possible because of the simple reason that windows depends on it. A lot of applications from Explorer to word also depend on the functionality provided by Internet explorer and they'd start failing if IE is completely removed. Remember the anti-trust lawsuit against Microsoft ? That lawsuit was filed because of exactly this reason. Earlier versions of Microsoft windows didn't let anyone uninstall IE from Windows. This feature of disabling IE was introduced only as a reaction to that lawsuit.

Well that's nice and all, and it's exactly what EVERY other website seems to say. It still doesn't tell you, however, how to ACTUALLY UNINSTALL Internet Explorer. Would you happen to actually know what you're talking about, or are you full of crap, and only know how to "disable" it?
