<description>I also experienced many problems running Safari 4 on my G4, which is running OS 10.4.11.
I found that it was very easy to uninstall and reinstall Safari 3, following these steps:
1. Download the desired version of Safari from this site:http://michelf.com/projects/multi-safari/
(I installed Safari 3.0.4. The program downloaded to my desktop, where it was labeled &quot;3.0.4&quot;)
2. Locate Safari 4 in your Applications folder (or wherever you stored it) and drag it to the trash.
3. Empty the trash.
4. Drag the downloaded version of Safari from your desktop into your Applications folder.
It was that easy, and my Safari 3.0.4 is now running like a dream. The Safari 4 nightmare is over!
