If you’re like most people, then you probably have more than a couple of passwords. A lot more. Passwords for email services, entertainment sites, web services, and things like that.
The problem with passwords is that they can be hard to remember. Or, at least, it’s hard to keep track of which password you use with which site or service. There are a number of excellent password management applications for desktop and mobile. But you’re not always at your own computer and your mobile device might not be handy.

With all of the sites people frequent on a daily basis, it is hard to keep everything straight.
Recently I sat down for a minute and thought about how many usernames and passwords I enter on a daily basis. Between my various e-mail accounts (4), social networking sites (3), my personal blog, the various online games I play (3), access to my work web apps (2), computer authentication password, online banking (4), IM clients (4), and other various logins for commenting on other blogs and miscellaneous sites like eBay, I’ve got literally dozens of passwords and usernames to keep track of.
