Question: Is there anyway that I can download all the images of a site at one go? I like to download nice wallpapers, but I hate to download them one at a time.
Of course the easiest way to download an image of a site is to right-click your mouse on the image and select the Save Image As… option. However, if there are 10 or 20 of images that you want, right-clicking the mouse everytime is going to be a tedious and tiring process. I’ve just watched a beautiful animation titled “The Secret of Kells”. I’m not going to spoil anything by telling you the story here, but I can tell you that the movie described how hard the process of writing a book was back in the middle age. It required top notch craftsmanship to write each and every word and to illustrate each page by hand. It took two generations to finish “just” one book.
Have you ever wanted to change the item listed in the context menu in Firefox and find that there are no ways for you to change it in the Preferences section? The Firefox browser comes with a list of preset items for your context menu and is supposed to be the most useful options during browsing. I have been an avid Gmail user since the first day it launched. I like the way that it integrates my calendar, tasks, contacts all in one place and allows me to manage multiple email accounts simultaneously. I almost have no complaints about it, only until recently when I need to schedule a email to be sent at a particular time, and I find that there is no option within Gmail that allows me to do it. Luckily, Boomerang for Gmail is here to the rescue.
It is a known fact that Firefox is a memory monster. It consumes your memory like there is no tomorrow. Load up a few tabs and it starts to slow down (or even crash). This is also the main reason why many people are ditching Firefox for Google Chrome. If you are bothered by this memory issue, but are not able to switch to other browsers because of the heavy dependency on the extensions, here are another 4 extensions that can solve/reduce the memory issue and make you a happy Firefox user (hopefully) again.
Many people still cling to the notion that Linux is for 30-year-old male geeks. While that may be true, there are plenty of other people of all ages, ethnicities, and genders who enjoy Linux and other free and open source software.
