Texting is kinda lame. SMS messages have a character limit, you have to know the person’s phone number and well, its hard to hold a longer SMS conversation. Some phones don’t thread the messages. If you forgot what you started talking about, it is a real pain to go back and re-read.

Do you love to video chat with friends? Do you spend a good amount of time chatting with random strangers at omegle.com, Skype or other free internet chat rooms that support video chatting ?
Most Instant Messaging applications keep a history log of all your conversation. When you need to access your history, you can just do a quick search within the app to retrieve the conversation. The only problem arises when you are using multiple IM applications, multiple computers, or both. In such situation, retrieving a particular history log can be difficult because you have no idea which IM app or terminal to retrieve the history log from.
How many of you use social sites? Do you find yourself using Twitter or Facebook for more private communication? There are other options out there.
If you are using Gmail, you will find that it has this habit of adding your email respondents to your contact list. To make it even worst, it even automatically add those contacts to your Google Talk account, making it very cluttered and messy. I am not sure about you, but 99% of the time, I only want to chat with my personal friends (on Google Chat) and not with any strangers that I have previously emailed to.
