I think there are various Online Operating systems today.... And the user has many other options as i see that all the above listed "webtops" have almost same features repeated, There is another Online Office Suite which is not included in the list, i would like to do so Its called eDesk Online It gives you the power of a Webtop also with additional features like eAccounting, ePortfolio tracking, eTaxation and many other applications.... eDeskOnline-Free Online Operating System

I have to agree, we like zoho as well…this is why we have partnered with them, and plan on building some of their online apps, into our web collaboration service….specifically for now the CRM solution.

From what we hear the next major project happening at Zoho, is to bring all these excellent wep applications together with single sign on…this will be nice to see. Also, if they keep API’s coming and open up to development community, and partners…then they just may fend off the mighty Google!

MS launched it’s own online suite but they’re late in the game, for now. Problem too, that users require to own MS legitimate software to login the suites

lol. That is to be expected from MS.

From what I know, MS has a MS Office Live Workspace where you can sign up for free. It allows you to share documents only. No creation and editing is allowed. Then there is this site that allows you to test drive MS Office 2007 online, but it cannot run on Linux. Think MS is really getting from bad to worst.

There has been literally tons of office apps both online and offline in recent years. With the explosion of social networking and increased usage of online applications, it accelerated the numbers. Which is, all good for the masses.

MS launched it’s own online suite but they’re late in the game, for now. Problem too, that users require to own MS legitimate software to login the suites. Correct me if I’m wrong. :)
