Actually it's much easier to tab a window by middle clicking and dragging it's title bar. You might need to enable it in 'System Settings>Window Behavior' bbbthough.

The key being "unless fatal bugs emerge". The whole point of a release candidate is to continue testing it because there is the possibility of some some bugs that have been overlooked. If you are running a system that depends on the stability of a particular software package, you do not want to be the one who finds that "fatal bug" when you need that package to work without fail.

From KDE's own website: "KDE SC 4.4 Release Candidate 1 provides a testing base for identifying bugs in the upcoming KDE Software Compilation 4.4..."

From Wikipedia:
"The term release candidate (RC) refers to a version with potential to be a final product, ready to release unless fatal bugs emerge. In this stage of product stabilization (read QA cycle), all product features have been designed, coded and tested through one or more Beta cycles with no known showstopper-class bug."

So this doesn't make sense:
"KDE 4.4 is still under development and should not be used on production systems, nor should stability be expected. "

Compiz has supported tabbing different applications for years and I am so happy to hear that KDE now has it too. All these personalize features is what makes linux so much better when working, because I can have it my way :)

Looking forward for the final version!

Actually, if you check the article again, you will see that I did mention that KWin can tab different applications together.

Thank you for your kind comments, and I agree, the changes are impressive.
