You need to manually install the newest version if you are running a 64-bit version due to a mono compilation problem on launchpad.

What is the best features that you like about the latest version of Gnome-Do?
Clearly the docky thing

Will the Docky replace your default dock?
It actually replaced a GNOME panel.

The Gnome-Do at the Ubuntu repository is outdated.

You need to add the following repositories to your sources.list.

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/do-core/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/do-core/ubuntu hardy main
