Perhaps you could try reviewing some hardware along with cool software so as to make the post more complete and attract readers.

@applefan1995: Thanks for your suggestion. We are currently not tackling the hardware part as it belongs to another arena that we are not proficient at. We might implement that in the future though.

I am not a total newbie to linux, but I still can't get my mind around using a tarball to install stuff. I am learning more about terminal and cli everyday, but using tarballs seems to escape me. Please help with a good walkthrough. Much appreciated.

How about a review of Litestep for Windows? it's way better than the default Explorer.exe
