How to play wma files in Ubuntu

For those who have difficulties in playing wma files in their Ubuntu, there are two ways that you can do to fix it.

1) install VLC. Vlc will play almost any media format you throw at it.

2) install the ubuntu-restricted-extra package. This will install the plugins required to play most of the restricted format.
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extra
