The MakeTechEasier Forum is about helping people to solve their technical woes. Simply ask your questions, giving as much information as possible, and somebody will try and answer them.

How to Ask a Question

1) Provide as much information as possible.
Too often we get questions that are vague and make no sense, and then time has to be wasted to try and ask a dozen follow up questions to figure out what the real question is. The more information you provide, the more likely others can answer your question.

2) Write in simple proper English
The intention is not to show off your English skill here. Write in simple, proper and easy to understand English.

Forum Rules

1) Be friendly to each other. We are trying to provide a friendly environment for everyone to ask/answer questions. Please don't start a verbal war here.

Rule of Thumb for Members: It's a bad idea to talk about Race, Sex, Religion or Politics, because Somebody will be offended Somewhere.

2) No offensive material/language/anything. Offensive material includes all sort of pornographic material and languages.

3) No spamming.

4) No sharing of illegal content.

5) Avoid inappropriate language.

6) No flaming or personal attacks. This is a help forum, and people that aren't trying to be helpful will be banned.

7) Stay on topic - don't post Windows content in a linux forum. You might anger the linux nerds.

8) Please do not post your personal email address.

Contacting a Moderator

If you feel that somehow you haven't been treated fairly, you can contact the moderators with your complaint via the email address forums-moderators [at] maketecheasier.com. Please include as much information as possible, especially your username. It would also be helpful to email from the same address that you used for your account so we can more easily verify who you are.

Forum Suggestions
