To build your virtual appliance, which includes your applications, database and library files pre configured and ready, you need to create an image of virtual machine with a stripped down os and your application and port that machine as a virtual appliance. In order to do this, you have two options. Create an appliance to your virtual machine and then configure the application and host it as an appliance. Or, you can use ready made tools for the job. For Instance, there are plenty of application that creates one for you.

You need to re-enable the automatic start of the print spooler driver from the services menu.. Go to Run->services.msc->Print Spooler, and right click on it to go to the properties tab. If the Startup type says "Disabled" or "Manual", change it to "Automatic". this should enable the spooler from the next startup. Choose "Start service" and then try to print again. If the same error pops up, you might need to re-install the service. Please refer to the Microsoft help pages to get that working.

Hi there,
My PC have Win7 and Sv2008 OSes in seperate partion (disk).
Normally I used dual boot (one ON and the other OFF).
But when develop something that need server side application to run (such database and web server), I want both of them are ON.
Using VHD image of Win7 in Hyper-V of Sv2008 could solve my problem.
But when it come to syncronization of my work in VHD image of Win7 and my real disk partition of Win7, I have to manually copy files between both of them.
Is there any work arround to simplified my problem ??
Or migh be, is it posible to run my fisrt (or second) OS in VM (as a guest OS) on top of my second (or first) OS, but without using an VHD image (instead, using the disk partition of the guest OS directly)??
Thank u kindly for the response.

i have an hp laptop running vista home premium, it is a 64 bit operating system but it is not able to be connected to my hp printer which is 64 bit compatable (or so it says on the box) the error i keep getting is that thunking spooler has stopped working. The printer works fine on my Xp run desk top. I think it may be a registry probem but i'm not sure. Can you help?
