Changing Your Vista Boot Screen Graphic
Didn’t like the plain black Windows Vista boot screen graphics? Here is a simple trick to beautify your boot screen.
There is actually a nice boot screen call “Aurora” hidden behind the actual boot screen. To enable it:
- Press ‘Start‘ button and type in msconfig.exe on the search bar
- Click on the msconfig.exe program
- In the “System Configuration” window, click on the “Boot” tab.
- Select your Windows Vista Installation and under “Boot options“, check “No GUI boot“
- Press OK
- Restart your computer.

You should be able to see the “Aurora” boot screen with text that says “Starting Windows Vista“.
