		<description>I was going to say the same thing. I use a mix of cron, autostart, kalarm, and at scheduled tasks on my machine. At is easy to control from scripts, so that they can schedule themselves based on conditions while the script runs. And kalarm has great flexibility for recurring tasks.</description>
