WordPress comes with this “tag” feature that allows you to tag your posts. While it is a great feature for you to categorize your posts, there is one problem though – there are no ways to organize them. Over time, as your tag list grow, it becomes very messy and your database is full of those tags that you either have no use for them or have used only once. If you find that your WordPress blog is running slower and slower everyday, cleaning up your tag list is definitely one of the things you should do to regain the speed and power of your blog.

In Mac, there is the Smart Folder that allows you to sort and organize your files and folders. In KDE, there is the Magic Folder that can do the same thing.
Magic Folder is a plasmoid for KDE that enables you to organize your files effortlessly. All you need to do is to drag and drop the file(s) onto the Magic Folder and it will move them to the destination you have pre-defined. There is no limitation to the type of file that it supports. The Ubuntu notification bubble (aka NotifyOSD) is one thing that I love and hate at the same time. I love how it is able to show notification in a nice and elegant way, yet I hate that it didn’t come with any configuration options for me to customize it. There’s no way I can close the bubble (when it appears), nor the timing or location of its appearance.

How to Install Plasmoids In Kubuntu (KDE)

I have just started using Kubuntu a week ago. Being a new user of the KDE desktop, I admit that I am have difficulty getting used to its terms. One of the thing I am always confuse is the difference between plasmoids and widgets. The two terms are used interchangeably and it took some googling to discover that plasmoids are actually widgets.
That is only one part. The next issue is the installing of new plasmoids. I downloaded some plasmoids from kde-apps.org and I have completely no ideas how to install it (I am still a newbie in KDE). I double click on it. It doesn’t work. I drag it to the widget section. It doesn’t work either. Once again, I have to google for help.
