How To Use Free Vista For A Year

For whatever reason, you obtained a copy of Windows Vista without the license key, here is what you can do to use that unlicensed OS for a year.

Firefox 3 Beta 2 Review

Last December, Mozilla released their second beta of Firefox 3 for public testing. This version fixed over 900 bugs over the previous version and included many new features. I took the opportunity to download it and test it on my Windows VM.

Once the beta version is downloaded and installed in my Windows, I launched it from my Start menu, expecting to see a complete difference in the interface. I were disappointed, because the beta 2 interface looks actually like Firefox 2, and I have to double check that I did install the Firefox 3 beta version.

Import Tab Features To Your Window Explorer

The Tab function is already a ‘must-have’ in all browsers, why not make it a feature in your window explorer too?

QT TabBar is a small program that allows you to add Tabs to your Window Explorer.

Download the file.

Unzipped it.

Right click on the installer and select “Run as administrator“.

Once the installation finished, log off your account, and log on again.

Open your Window explorer. Right click on the menu bar and add QT TabBar.

Done.

Out of a total of 92 votes,

  • 79.5% like Firefox
  • 6.5% like IE
  • 6.5% like Safari
  • 6.5% like Opera
  • 1% like other browser

This result seems a bit of a surprise when the statistics taken from W3C shows that (in Dec 2007) Firefox users only account for 36.3% while IE users (inclusive of IE5, IE6 and IE7) take up 55.9% of the market share.
