@Damien: Probably, but this is not directly in our hands. We use “libgpod” for all iPod access, and I assume that this might also include the iPhone in the future.

But I’m really not an expert on this; personally I don’t have any Apple products. You could ask on our mailing list, where the iPod expert will surely read your mail :)
