If you want to use the default KDE clear icon in Xclear, add to your /home//.mozilla/firefox/.default/chrome/userChrome.css file the following line (tested in Kubuntu):
.xclear { list-style-image: url(“/usr/share/icons/oxygen/16×16/actions/edit-clear-locationbar-rtl.png”) !important; }

For those searching for a better file picker:

Enter “about:config” in the Firefox address bar and look for the key “ui.allow_platform_file_picker”. Change its value to “false” by double clicking on it..

* gives your Firefox file picker a KDE/Qt style

I’m counting the GTK theme as #5. Besides, “5 Firefox Add-ons…” makes for a better (shorter) title than “4 Firefox add-ons and one GTK theme…”. :)

The file picker is still the one thing that irks me about using Firefox with KDE. OpenOffice.org has managed to get a KDE file picker working, but even that one gives me problems. I wish I had an answer for you, but I’m not a developer, just a writer. :)

Oh please tell us how to use KDE’s app chooser for unknown file types, and how to use KDE’s file picker when needing to do that…. The Qt file picker is definitely better than Gnome but still not KDE…
