(The updates will be free.) There is a number of design and technical issues we are working to solve to provide the best user experience possible. All we need is a little patience :). Note that there's also the built-in Finder-like feature of previewing file content (just hit Space). The visual preview is usually way more informative than just "date/time/type", but the window displays the file metadata as well. Greetings,
