Keep that Pro PC crap off here! Until you try a Mac, you have no room to say anything. I can assure you that as a long time PC user and creative person (I use Cubase, ProLogic, Adobe CS4 and MANY other creative programs) that a MAC with a core2 duo processor and 4GB ram will run circles around a quad-core PC with 8 GB ram. I’ve tried it :).

I assure you that your money is better spent on even an imac with 4gb than the best PC money can buy… Unless you are a gamer, but in that case you need a lot more help than Mac can give you… like a life.

I know one thing you can live without and would fix all the things you can’t live without in one shot… It’s the Mac itself! You can simply live without it and it solves all the special little things you need with it! The P.C. is a great tool for all your design and professional needs.

But again this is coming from a person that never tried a Mac! I wonder why I feel this way lol. Maybe it’s because I’m assuming P.C has satisfied all my needs as a consumer for a personal computer.

The only program I use for this list on the P.C is VLC media player and I simply love it! It literally plays anything!
