[...] Earlier we have used QTtabbar, which lets you import tabbed features to your windows explorer but WinTabber is even more useful. It is a free desktop tool for windows that lets you organize open windows and running applications in tabs. All the open folders can be grouped together which keeps your desktop clean and uncluttered. Another advantage of using tabbed applications is that you get a lot of space in the taskbar and the running applications do not get huddled together.
"Combine this with another extension that allows you to use the mouse scroll wheel to change tabs..."

Err... Linux users don't need such extension. Moving the scroll wheel over the tab bar switches between tabs in Linux (Ubuntu, Linux Mint), without any sort of extension whatsoever.r

Tree Style Tabs is THE best tab extension. Combine this with another extension that allows you to use the mouse scroll wheel to change tabs and you have the ultimate set-up (I think All-in-one Gestures does this). Now to change tabs I just move my mouse into the tab sidebar on the left and scroll through them. And the bar on the left stores maybe 30 tabs. Again, best on widescreen.

Tree Style Tab

"This provides tree-style tab bar, like a folder tree of Windows Explorer. New tabs opened from links (or etc.) are automatically attached to the current tab."

Great for wide-screen.
